Ex-Mays are alumni of Mayflower school Ikenne. We were privileged
to pass through Mayflower and to have allowed Mayflower to pass
through us. Mayflower played a significant role in making us
who we are today. This is where we learned Mayflower values.
We were taught that "knowledge is light and Ignorance is
darkness." We were taught "self reliance" skills.
We
leaned about character, integrity, courage, and responsibility.
As ex-mays we know that "we can become whatever we choose
to be." We learned perseverance, "may your road be
rough." Ex-mays understand strenght,courage, and purpose,
"my head is bloody but unbowed." We learned about
free speech and communal efforts.
